bn Batuta, celebrato viaggiatore arabo del XIV secolo,
visitando gli atolli maldiviani rimase incantato e scrisse
“avrei voluto possedere quell’isola per farne il mio rifugio
in attesa che l’ora inevitabile mi raggiungesse … Viaggiare ti
lascia senza parole e poi ti trasforma in un narratore”.
I
bn Batuta, famous Arab traveller from the 14th century,
visiting the Maldivian atolls was enchanted and wrote “I
would like to have possessed that island as my refuge while
awaiting the inevitable hour to overtake me… Travelling leaves
you speechless and then turns you into a narrator”.
